For the benefit and protection of all our guests, we have the following requirements:

* Proof of current veterinary administered Rabies and 3-way vaccinations or equivalent titers are required. For maximum coverage and protection for your kitty, we suggest immunizations be administered two to three weeks prior to vacationing.

* All guests must be free of any contagious conditions.

* All guests must arrive free of fleas. If not, we will treat with a flea treatment.  Note, additional charges apply.

* All guests over six months of age must be spayed or neutered.

* We gladly accept cats three months of age and older.

* Guests recently adopted from cattery or shelter are welcome fourteen days after finding their new home.

* We ask that you use a travel-safe carrier such as plastic or soft-sided versus the one-time use cardboard style when arriving and departing, an itinerary with telephone numbers where you can be reached or the telephone numbers of two friends or family members in case of emergency.

Other Policies

* Reservations are required.  There is a three-night minimum stay. We require a $20 deposit at time of reservation for non holiday/non peak reservations and a 50% non refundable deposit for holiday reservations.

* Please note our check out time is 11 a.m. If you check out before 11 a.m. you will not be charged for that night.

* No shows will be charged for the entire scheduled stay.

* We require three days notice for shortened visits (early departures or late arrivals) or charges for scheduled stay will be expected and due at check out.

* Cancellations with less than three days notice will be charged $20 for non holiday/non peak reservations and a 50% non refundable deposit for holiday reservations.

* For stays greater than 14 days, we require 50% of the estimated fees at the time of check-in.

* We accept personal check, traveler's check or cash.  Sorry, we do not accept credit cards. Full payment is required at time of pick up.

* All guests will be given a brief pre-entry check upon arrival. Anything unusual should be brought to our attention. The pre-entry exam is superficial only and is not intended to replace a physical exam by your veterinarian or imply medical judgments. If fleas are found, we will need to treat your pet. There is an additional charge for this treatment.

*  We will only release cat(s) to their owners unless you've give us authorization in advance to release your cat(s) to family or friends.

*  Of course we hope your cat will not need to see a veterinarian during his or her stay. If the need should arise, we would first notify the emergency contact. If the emergency contact is not available or the situation is grave, we would contact your veterinarian. If your veterinarian is unavailable, one of the community on-call veterinarians will be contacted. Costs incurred for veterinary care will be collected at the end of your cat's stay. Kitty taxi travel charges apply.

If your kitty is taking a medication, please note we only administer medication as prescribed by a veterinarian and as indicated on the original container. Please bring medication in the original container. Please make sure that the instructions on the container are current and correct. If the dosage has changed from what is printed on the container, please have your veterinarian fax us the most current instructions. Also if administering pills, please make sure they are in the quantity we are to administer i.e. if we are to administer one half tablet, please bring the pills already cut into one half tablets (not wholes, quarters and halves).  We take your kitty’s medical condition seriously and your cooperation is much appreciated in helping us.
